Ordered one today, it will probably beat my pre-ordered Verizon S3 to me. We'll see how good this protector is...

Id like some pictures before I make a purchase. I need to see how the fitment is, how its cut and how you are handling the tapered edges (the edge is not flat, it rolls off which makes it hard for a lot of screen protectors to fit properly)
Nexus One...sold

Samsung Galaxy S Captivate...arriving

Think of like your windshield, multiple layers bonded together with glue making it very strong. Same principle. It will be stronger. Not indestructible, just much stronger. Lookup Sears Tower glass box, glass is extremely strong. Gorilla glass 2 is very durable on its own, but they are using a thinner sheet compared to the original GG, resulting in no real improvement other than it is lighter. At $200 to replace glass on the HOX, $30 to reduce the chances of this happening is well worth it. I have never broke a screen before, but I don't want to start now. Knock on wood.

I too would like some pictures. I'm worried about how well the protector will fit, since the S3's display is convex. This means the edges of the screen protector wont meet the display, providing a possible area for dust/lint build up and possibly allowing it to be caught on something and peeled off entirely.

I really do like the idea of a glass screen protector though.
We've had our S3 for a week now and the curve is not as severe as you think, it is extremely minimal.

I'm sure it protects against scratches, etc., but how does it protect against drops? I.e., Impacts...

I am not disputing any claims by the manufacturer, I just want to understand. If I understand it, the chance of a purchase will increase.
