1. OTA's cannot be installed via 4EXT or any other custom recovery, use the wind GB exe ruu in the dev section to restore to stock GB.
2. You will lose 4EXT but you can always restore it after the update using hasoon's tool
3. Whether your bootloader is locked or not, since you're s-off, it doesn't matter, but you will have to unlock it to flash 4EXT after the update.

ICS update help

I rooted my HTC amaze with Wind. From the reading here in order to update to ICS, I need to revert back to Wind stock Rom and relock my bootloader. The stock Rom that I found here is version 1.46.1500.2, unfortunately I did upgraded to 1.46.1500.3. When I try to revert back to 1.46.1500.2, I get Error 55.

I did download ICS from my phone, but I get an error during installation.

Could someone please help me so I can unroot my phone and get ICS update?

You don't need stock ROM. You have to lock bootlaoder and flash stock recovery.

I had this issue also, search the forums for "1.46.1500.3 wind" or something like that and you will find one download link (slow but it works) and than you wont get that error. worked fine after i found it.

People need to read the post here before complaining about any issues, every issue you have has been reported and resolved here, kindly read through the thread before asking a question, it's a bit off to be answering the same questions repeatedly.

Telus ICS has no bloatware, the only ICS that has bloatware is T-Mobile.

WIND has a single app called 'WIND'. Useless imo.
