I can confirm that it is working, so far it is working well. Installation is very easy if you are s-off or unlocked boot loader all you need to do is copy the script file (not the zip) to the /etc/init.d/ folder and change permissions to 755 and then reboot.

I tried to Retro fit my working rom with the script but my attempt didn't work, I forgot about the need to change permissions

Flashed beta3 fresh downloaded & used es file explorer to copy and change permissions.
I'm using a lesser know app to backup and restore called my backup root so far I find it better than tb .
So just restoring all my apps now now it needs a good testing

The way this dat2ext works is pretty cool cause in titanium backup my internal memory is now showing as 495 Mb and the sd-card (a2sd) is 194mb.

Just wanted to ask if the sometimes unresponsive screen when call incoming is gone in beta3 (not mentioned in known errors)?
This made me go back to 7.2 but damn it, I miss ICS

Thank you Zeubea for this awesome work, obviously its a speed demon, my only problem with this rom is the playback of videos the hardware acceleration, im using beta 3 is there any fix for this? Thanks again.

Really I have not got ever this issue. It was put con OP because a couple of users report it.

Ok, will try again in the next days. Really strange problem with that unresponsive call screen, was unable to reproduce but happened regularly, tried many cpu settings etc (maybe it was caused by the upcoming USB soft brick I had a few days later*).
Will see if it's gone now, chances are good I guess when people don't report it anymore.

managed to get it undone with the threads here on xda, but what I wanted is to ask, is what can cause this? found many threads how to solve (was not that hard, but still needed some time to do), but nowhere was pointed out how this can happen to legend, or I overlooked it

Just interested.... don't know if it matters - phone is s-off with an xtc-clip before htc released their unlocking tool.

Can someone teel me why in the OP zeubea says:

"Prerequisites : hboot unlocked or S-OFF"

I have S-ON hboot 1.01 and i'm running this rom since alpha3 (i think) without problems.
Any reason for the prerequisites?

Good job on the ROM zeubea. Will you try to wrap up the CM9/Android 4.0 ROM soon, and switch to JellyBean?

I know this is getting to be a really old and slow phone, but I find ICS not as smooth and fast as ICS on LG Optimus One, and I think the only difference is the higher amount of RAM 512 vs 384. I'm not sure if they use different GPU's, but probably not. Is that why it's slower?

Either way, I feel like Legend could really benefit from JB, and it would be nice if you'd try to upgrade to that soon, since I don't think the development will take as long as it did for ICS, since the changes are mostly minor.
