Task650 had tried implementing ICS for the Jetstream. He had some problems then. Perhaps he could share the problems he faced here so that others would be able to figure out the error or find a work around.

If you guys need testers let me know. My tab should be in tomorrow and I have a friend with one also who would be willing to help out.

We have a working logcat. I'll apply some fixes in the ramdisk to get it booting hopefully.

If you are a dev (or interested):

Logcat loops at

Netd 1:0: starting
Failed to ..................
Failed to open quota2 logging socket

I think an init.rc line will fix it. I am using the stock boot.img and will apply the ICS bootclasspath and Netd configuration into the init.rc .

If it doesn't work, I think some patches will be required in the ROM itself. If anyone can help patch it, I'll upload a private link to the ROM for interested devs.

If nothing else works I'll build from AOKP source.

I can be a tester too. I'm not using that much mine.

Mhkabir, its a kernel thing.. If you never compiled kernels or AOSP from source, you won't be able to do this as it takes an enormous amount of time and knowledge about everything.

İ will give it a shot within 4 weeks (on holiday atm) for İCS, it doesn't seem impossible (And İ know what im talking about since İ also brought AOSP İCS to the Flyer).
