if it runs smooth on 1600 no chance of frying anything is there by leaving it overclocked?

Nah, you shouldn't fry anything. Let us know if there are noticeable benefits to running at 1600.

Folks, another update is coming soon. I've cleaned up some things and made several improvements to the overall look. Now your phone can be smart, fast, and easy on the eyes. I have it looking sharp enough to be proud to run it as my daily driver now.

Here's a sneak peak at some changes. If anyone is thinking of trying this rom out, I'd suggest waiting a couple of days for the update.

Just to be safe, make sure you run with a governor setting that allows the CPU to reduce frequency when idle or asleep. (i.e. do not use "performance" setting as this keeps the CPU at max/1600 all the time...)

After only 11 hours of standby time and only 34 min of on screen time my battery was dead by leaving it at 1600. I don't know of anything else played apart to this but I did nothing different and wasn't on my phone hardly at all due to having to fix my door cause my house was broke into last night.

Other than the OC to 1600 this rom been very stable and great battery life

A couple of possibility:
1. Broadcom bt battery drain. Needs a reboot to clear it.
2. You accidentally raised the oc nax and min to 1600.
3. Maps killed your battery along with another location request app.
Do you need THIS for your Infuse?

You should not do THIS without one of THESE.

Rebooted didn't resolve
Max at 1600, Min at 100.
Maps may have been the culprit will unistall and test again tomorrow. Update results tomorrow night

I don't know about battery life when overclocking, but I run this rom at stock settings on my phone and get excellent battery life.

I've just uploaded an update to Ethereal. Check out the first post for screenshots and the download link. I've learned a lot this week, and have made several visual improvements to the rom.

Some changes:

Blue Android Particles boot animation
ICS inspired notification panel theme
Added Holo Launcher as a launcher option
Added ICS cell and wifi signal animations
Added QuickPanel Settings to the Settings menu
Updated the look of the Settings menu
Horizontal battery animation w/ percentage
Cleaned up the widget for the Dark Google Search bar
Cleaned up and changed some icons
Other small visual changes

Holo Launcher is definitely not as snappy as the AOSP launcher. I've read complaints of lag with Holo Launcher, but personally haven't experienced it myself. I have decided with this rom to leave out apps and launchers that can be downloaded from the Play Store. So, in the update that I am uploading today, it isn't included. It's nice, though, and if people want it, they can always download it.

Some things about the Settings menu, the ICS signal animations, and the battery charge animations were bothering me, so I knocked out some more work on it today. Sorry that the updates are coming so quickly, but in my opinion this is a major improvement over the last one. The settings menu looks much better now, as do the cell signal, wifi signal, and battery charge animations. I'll wait a little while before releasing the next update, but will continue work on this rom through the summer.

New screenshots are in the OP.
