Exactly. I don't know the first thing about android development, but I can surmise based on the dev thread for Lisbon/woohoocamera that it is not easy building from scratch.
DG has a github, however the files there were last updated over 5 months ago, and nothing flyer related.
He posted an early beta on his site in May. The link is still there and at least downloads. Something is better than nothing, I guess.
To Drew, I know you are following this thread. You say you had computer failure. It happens. It sucks. We get that.
The reality is previously mentioned... Over promise, under deliver. Your method of closed door development is the concern here, not so much the problems in between. As I see it, XDA members have an expectation of openness. If that expectation is not met, "torches and pitchforks for everyone." You can claim everything under the sun, but with nothing to back it up people are going to get wary. You said you don't post in forums because of potential backlash, well all of this recent negativity is the direct result of that personal choice.
To sate the masses (and to prevent starting from scratch again), could you please add the work to git? You can mark it read only if need be... Hell, someone may be able to help with the graphics issues or whatever other problems come up if the current source were available.
Although, the other part of the reality is the only people that should be truly upset and/or demanding are those with a vested interest in the development... The people who donated.
That's just my suggestion and last post in this thread. Use it if you want... Whatever happens, happens. Just don't let yourself become another Charlie Wenzel.
