Did you charge it long enough? On EBay it says the case needs to be charged for 8 hours...but I suppose if all LEDs are lit...should be done

Temped by a 3200mah version - it's from the UK and it's definitely thicker but not as long! Although it's not "new" from the description...

Okay, it seems that a 40-60% charge might be the maximum for this case, because the battery itself is 3V, but the usb-slot needs 5V to charge.

Damn. Didn't notice that before I ordered the case.

He has the 2200 one. The better looking slimmer one.

40-60% isn't terrible for $20. That equates to around 3 hours of display time. Compare that to ugly batteries that stick out in the middle like a hump for around the same or more money and don't even give half that amount of extra battery
