The Wipe Data/System Reset will delete all of your installed apps and settings. Wipe Cache is safe and will not affect the apps you have installed, although they may lose some of their settings.

This procedure does not clear your SD card.

It all depends on if the tacoroot exploit still works or not. If it does then this script wil continue to work.

Yes it work,but need manually to push/flash boot.img. but pls remember to backup first before flash custom rom.

I've followed all the steps in OP's post, but it seems to hang on the CM7 boot animation.

My phone's on HBOOT 2.x if that's any help. I've also tried repeating steps but to no avail.

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.

Are you running step 14. With an unlocked HTC bootloader, you will need to extract the boot.img from the ROM's zip file and manually flash it in FASTBOOT USB mode.
