Electrify success yet?

I have a Electrify, with stock Rom..never updated. Unlocked, and rooted. Has anyone been able to successfully unlock the GSM on this yet? If so, please point me to what you did to get it going. I don't ever care about getting CDMA back.

Not from what I have heard, might have to look into an alternate way to flash...or it may just not be compatible due to differences in the hardware.

I just flashed this after unlocking i didnt test it but i did get the activation screen after i went on to gsm and was showing att, tim but since i have no sim for eitther i was testing...later i decided to flash muiu woth gsm edit and i is showing 3g icon no bars but i am getting 1x full bars and when i make a call it shows verizon i cant test gsm carriers yet i just ordered simple mobile but just making a note of my results...

Bin using this with straight talk att sim. I noticed that if I choose GSM only, I get great signal and 2g. If I use automatic or global, I get hspa + or 3g. But not a very good signal. Or sometimes no signal. Is there a way to use both. Using peetr hybrid, but it doesn't matter what rom same results.

hardware should be exact same except minus 4g antenna. and is there anyway around that dang locked bootloader?

I could not get it to flash on my unlocked electrify no matter what I did. Always got an error flashing(partition error) and also no luck in fastboot,

Sure about that? Doesn't the electrify completely lack the 4g chip? Could be doing some sort of sig/version check that prevents the radio from being flashed to non-4g capable devices. It may be possible to flash from bootstrap if it(bootstrap) can be fixed. IMO bootstrap is a glitchy mess right now though and I wouldn't know how to fix it.

Never bothered to look up the electrify til reading this. Makes sense though. If we ever find the nv item "switch" which I am starting to doubt exists at nvm, I expect tthat will be the day electrify also gets unlocked. And by the way to all watching and you folks that pm'd me waiting for nv dump help know I haven't forgot or quit. We have been working hard getting our wireless store open and stocked. Consuming a lot of time and should be open for business first week in July. It shouldn't be long before a photon and electrify show up since I will be repairing and flashing phones and running a cell phone exchange.

It lacks all the 4g hardware. Not just antenna. I don't think the radio will work regardless in my opinion. All the other hardware might be the same but it's not enough.
