The interface for the contrast setting has yet to be added to the application - which no doubt it will be eventually. Franco posted r196 at 3am his time, do you really expect him to go on and update the app immediately afterwards? The application interface doesn't require a new kernel, it depends on when Franco can find time to do it. Waiting for r197 isn't going to magically fix your problem and frankly if you can't run a single command like that you shouldn't be flashing nightly kernels.

Plug your phone in via USB, open cmd prompt, run:
adb shell
echo "0" > /sys/module/panel_s6e8aa0/parameters/contrast

And job done, that's all that's needed. If you start doing things like that you'll learn more and may eventually get into some sort of development. If you just come here and download stuff without any inclination to try something that requires a little bit of effort then your knowledge will never progress.

After changing from 512 to 384 Kernel due to graphic glitches I had to reinstall PGM (worked on 512 but didn't on 384). Sorry for the false report.

If i have set cpu settings on boot along with set power mode on boot, then everything is right EXCEPT it has both cpu cores online when my powermode is set to only have one, the cpu freq and gov are correct though(because set cpu on boot is checked id assume)

Anyone having same problem?
