If you're using the beta 2013 theme its on the left under the post directly below avatar and user info. If using classic its next to reply.

Ii just switched to the 2013 beta - now I have thanks again. I was on classic and couldn't find it next to reply - in fact, there was no reply!

It's a little wierd that I see a <script> at the top of the screen, but I'll put up with that to have access to Thanks.

Now I can't get rid of the Yellow triangle or reset the binary counter with my jig.
Do I need to flash another bootloader ? If yes, which would you recommend ?

Cheers.

Sorry kinda missed this one. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for everything but it's one of the advantages of beta testing as I learn even more thanks to krarvind helping me out for things I don't know and having to be a spare pair of eyes for him. That and lots of time spent reading and observing multiple threads. I think I have about 10 or so subscribed threads of which interest me so try help where I can and learn from what others share. Thanks I like to think it's my willingness to help that got me there

Yeah it's because the CM9 resurrection edition includes an ICS bootloader. I've never flashed a different bootloader from what came with my phone when I bought it so am running the old GB one which you can get from HERE (thanks to Intratech as is from his thread.

With that bootloader the jig should be back working again.

It worked for me on CM9 so technically it should work with this ROM too.

Hmmmm I believe hardware does play a role, but there are certain settings that can be ported over to improve some sound quality. Not to burst any bubbles/treading on sensitive grounds here... but Supercurio is also the guy behind Voodoo louder - which is a paid app. When money is involved, people will often do what they can to make others things look bad so theirs looks better.
It would be better if an independent company (with nothing to gain from this) were to do tests and give results (not someone who has a vested interest).
*That being said, I think it's just equalizer settings that are boosted somehow to give a better sound - but if it works better than default dsp manager, why not.

**forgot to add - I think if you're into music, you're better off with a good paid music app anyways (I am using PlayerPro) and it's definitely better than stock, apollo, etc... plus has it's own DSP manager.
If you need help, check the FAQ first for whatever ROM you're on. Then ask questions.

I've seen that same argument elsewhere about having the vested interest but this was proven in stats will look it up later as on the phone but voodoo louder isn't performing the same function as what people claim beats audio to do. All it does is allow you to increase the volume of the sound not improve quality. His previous work on the HD2 and many other phones/tabs, voodoo sound is what would be comparable however for this phone its not available due to the lesser quality Yahama chip. Therefore the details he provided about beats for the S2 would not be clouded by vested interest as such. That and he's such a respected dev on these and many fora so I'm more inclined to agree with fact over any chance of placebo.

I did test it when it first came about by the way and could not tell any difference with medium quality headphones (klipsh s4's). I now have even better headphones (Phonak Audeo PFE 122's) which are more than adequate with no equaliser just the green sound filters. I have also tested DSP Manager and it was a very noticeable difference so would recommend that over beats.

We're all inclined to have an opinion its a healthy discussion.
