Script shouldn't be too difficult. Just detect the bootloader version and if it's ICS write the image to the AKB partition otherwise SOS. Also check that resolv.conf is there because sometimes wget needs it (ICS Root has always installed it but ZeroNull's script doesn't). If not just echo Google 's name servers to it.

Working on it now. Expect an alpha-level script by this weekend. I'm not too fond of the ubuntu rootfs supplied, so I'm getting one with 12.04 to run smoothly, etc.

Has any progress been made on this? I'd like to apply something similar to this on my A100, but I don't think we have USB Host, so we can't use the keyboard. Any thoughts or ideas?

You can do that without keyboard if you configure autologin, then use "OnBoard" virtual keyboard
