Lol, that's why I'm waiting for all the kinks to be worked out with 3.1. Too many changes at once makes it impossible to troubleshoot.

And thanks chongo, I really like my performance.

Switched all the way back to the stock 1.73 radio. I had awesome battery life with the newest Telus radio but data speeds took a plunge. I got great speeds with 2.09 but battery life was greatly affected. Seems like 1.73 and 1.88 give me the best balance. I may test 1.82 today. I'm on the Mississippi Gulf Coast by the way on HSPA+.

You'd definitely want to try out 1.82. I'm not far from you and it seems great thus far. Battery issues seems to be resolved compared to 1.88 and 2.09, especially on standby. Speeds are wonderful. Waiting to do a heavy phone call to see how that works on the battery.

Everything was great on the Telus radio, except when making calls. It looks like from your screenshots that you didnt make very many calls. My only complaint was the battery hit while on calls. Everything else was awesome.

According to the OP, the radio from the original 1.73 stock and the leaked 1.82 are the same. Look at the baseband. The only difference is the build, not the baseband which is the radio. Or am I missing something else here???

Huh...Never even noticed but you're right.

Lets consolidate that.

Edit: Updated OP.

It's weird if they are because I have noticed a difference between them particularly in data speeds. 1.82 is better.

As far as battery drain, an 00:11:00 phone call on bluetooth ,while scanning for a wifi connection drained a fully charged battery 3%.

I mean, you're welcome to do some in depth analysis on the two images, but Im willing to rely on Baseband version until proven otherwise. The data speed increase was probably just placebo (which I'm totally guilty of as well: back when the 1.88 zip had the wrong img file in it, I could've sworn it was faster than 1.85, but it turned out it was the exact same Baseband)

for me so far,

1.91 = 1.85 > 1.73 > 1.88 > 2.09

i don't know about battery usage, but mostly LTE, wifi, and call quality in here chicago suburb area.

2.09 being worst since wifi connection drops horribly at home.
