+1 on this .... if I bought a phone on eBay and it said "new in box" I would assume brand new, unopened, etc.

I also don't think you're trying to be sneaky, just putting my .02 in :)

I would strongly advise that no one follow that advice considering that there is a very high likelihood one or more of those steps constitutes fraud. You cannot sell something as new in box when it is not new in box. eBay and any other resale website has very clear categories for a reason. The buyer must be notified that the phone is going to be taken out of the box and activated before they pay. Anyone who sells the phone as new will be lucky if the buyer does not pursue a void of the transaction.

Sigh...

I will probably just wait it out at this point. I guess I want my cake and ice cream too. I do not want a larger phone than what I got now. My friend has that galaxy nexus and I thought that was really too big but gs3 phone is a little bigger than that even.

I guess I'll keep my unlimited for now, see how folks like their inc 4g's and then maybe vz will offer some stupid gimmick like double your data again, or I'll just buy the phone a few months down the road after the next greatest thing comes along, maybe by then the price will be cheaper for an off contract upgrade to keep my unlimited.

For those looking at buying the Incredible 4G retail, It's currently listed in the Verizon computer system at $549.99. That for me, reinforces the rumored $149.99 on contract price with a possible $50 rebate at the July 5th launch. They still aren't taking pre-orders though.

Think I'm going to try out a nexus for a week or so and keep my unlimited data. Hopefully, I'm able to exchange it for an Incredible 4G when its finally released.

Ha! I've had my Rezound for less than a day and I can't stand it's large size. I wouldn't able to handle the GSIII or a Nexus. And I mean that literally.

At Best Buy, I just upgraded my black Incredible 2 to a white Incredible 2 and kept my unlimited data. I'll return next week the exchange the white Inc2 for the Inc4G.

I just called VZW and had them reactivate my black Inc2. The white one will remain safely in its box until it's time to make the swap for Inc4G.

gf couldn't wait. neither could her unlimited data plan. so we went and pre-ordered the SGS3. once it comes out, if she still wants the DInc4, we'll sell the SGS3 and but the Dinc4 outright. i'm pretty sure the SGS3 will almost or more than make up the cost of that.

I feel your pain, after coming from my little Eris to my TBolt, ugh. It's amazing though how I've gotten used to it since I've had it (day one release), but I'm certain that I do not want to go any larger.

I know the Inc 4G is a smidge taller, but I believe it's thinner and not as wide as my TBolt. I think I can handle that. C'mon VZ bring it!

makes since there since VZ typically charges higher retail than others for the devices....Hence the EVOLTE was $549 in Sprints system and they sold for $199 2y pricing...

GF went to BB yesterday and picked up a rezound to lock her unlimited in with her upgrade she had...plan is to just have her use it till Inc4G comes out and then exchange it for that device within the 14day return period...hopefully that works, as im not sure exactly how ill have to word the process to the BB employee to guarentee this gets done correctly and not messed up...

Couldn't help but chuckle at the MSRP they had for the Rezound....some 6-700 bucks. lol wtf is that. haha

Sprint Network Vision Deployment List...
