Shared Data plan is good for family plans but not for individual plans like mine.

I'm pretty sure shared data is not a replacement for the tiered data they started last year.

I thought they VZ was making new customers sign to the Shared Data plan starting on the 28th and was replacing the tiered data plan. (Not for current customers, only new customers).

Now, I am more confused on the new data/pricing structure and the effects/limitations on current users.

The option will be either a tiered data plan or a shared plan which ever is cheaper for you. When I checked into it for myself an individual tiered plan was cheaper than one phone on a shared plan.

I preordered my OG Dinc a couple years ago. My wife's was purchased used a few months ago (she was struggling along with an OG Droid).

I considered the RAZR Maxx. Strongly tempted by the GS3. Thought about preordering the DInc 4G. When it came down to it, though, I ordered 2 Rezounds. I couldn't pass up that price.

I'll probably resell my wife's DInc as it's a little "fresher" than mine. I'll keep mine as a backup/wifi device.

Order it right off the Verizon website. It gives you your plan add ONS and unlimited data and email is checked.

I went ahead and ordered the S3. It showed my unlimited data. Took screenshots of the whole order process. Hopefully the order will go through without any issues.
