It is looking like they are working on making the backlight adjust automatically, depending on what the lightsensor is telling... but it looks like the lightsensor is not yet working, so it is no good at the moment.
It is no longer helping to change hw_config.sh

Smile cm9 feature request page?

i want to suggest a feature for cm9. option to save all the settings of cm9. all the launcher, system, lockscreen etc...

but i do not think here or the fxp bugtracker is the right place since it would be core cm9.

so do you guys know of any forum etc where such a feature request may be made?

cm9 is really going places in the last few releases.
extremely stable, have been using 2g always on and having great deep sleep battery performance.

thanks fxp team, hope you get around the linaro stuff soon.

Personally I use "GO Launcher EX" and "GO SMS Pro", here I am able to automatically make a backup for example every week... would be nice with something like that for all Cyanogenmod settings

One workaround is to use Tasker. Create a task for the Keyboard out event and execute this shell command (with root access):

echo "5000" > /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0040/leds/keyboard-backlight/brightness

and then create an exit task with:

echo "0" > /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0040/leds/keyboard-backlight/brightness

Default DHCP Error

Hey, I installed all versions of FXP and now the CM9 RC without any success. I am just able to connect to networks without using the DHCP Server, unfortunately sometimes I don't know the IP address, so I can't connect.
How to solve that? Another Kernel? Is there a solution yet for that?
