Question Best options for charging extra battery in car?

I can't imagine I'm the first to want this, but I didn't find anything in a search. I want to keep an extra battery charging in my car, but I don't see anything that serves as a in-car battery charger.

I have a car cigarette-lighter-adapter that has two USB power ports, so I could in theory charge the phone while also supplying power to a spare battery charger.

Perhaps in a worst-case situation I could commandeer my desk charger and try using it in the car, but that's not something I want to do on a regular basis, and I'm not sure how much it would like being powered by a car-adapter.

You could buy a DC to AC power inverter, and a stand alone battery charger or (which oddly would be cheaper), a partially working Epic like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Gala...item4d015e05e9 and just use that as an external battery charger that could charge from your car with just a cable

I use an inverter with an external battery charger plugged in. Those two items combined were like 10-15 bucks. When you get a new phone, you can get a new external charger and plug it into the inverter no problem. Future proof, as they say.

This charger/dock is USB-powered, so you can use it without an inverter.

The cheap-o fleabay wall battery charger I use also has a USB connector... can be used both as a wall charger and via USB. If you plan to use it in the car only get the Samsung one
