Your doing great on the kernel work dude, anyone complaining can simply take the time to learn and build their own, just like you did.

Since this is based on lightningdude's kernel with very little modified, could anyone test it out for me? I want to make sure that it's bootable before I move forward with modifications & branch out on my own. Thanks.

Shouldn't you test it out yourself?

Yes & no. I'm selling my R800x due to frustrations with it's design & device support from Sony. I attempted to run it but to no avail. I was hoping for feedback & clarity. If I don't have any good results, even with troubleshooting, I'm scrapping the kernel idea, too.

New kernel uploaded with ksm added. Reflash the modules after a new rom install. Youtube works for me, so maybe that means video playback works? Version 4 still works on 126, for those that want to stay there.

It won't move past the bootlogo, buddy. According to pax's tutorial, it's probably something to do with the ramdisk. Which FXP kernel did you take the ramdisk from?

I can confirm youtube and video works but panorama and face unlock doesn't with v4.

I'll look to see what all has been changed with the video playback problems. If it's what I'm thinking, it's a little odd to trade playback for panorama and faceunlock.

Would you guys rather have video playback or panorama and faceunlock?
