Hey i think the CDMA milestone 5 fix broke my google play store app. I flashed the new zip over my old one without wiping data, and it somehow uninstalled my google play store app. Even after re installing it the app just force closes whenever i try to open it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Do a full wipe when installing the zip. I should add that to the first post.

Shouldn't need too. If it was after installing a new version of aokp then you just need to reflash Gapps.

First, go to Supervenom's original play and DL the Rom:
Link

As pricey2009 mentioned below using notepad can corrupt the update-script file so make sure to use notepad++ or Linux programs like (gedit, vi(m), pico).
Thx to Pax and Pricey for posting info on that.

Then change the update-script file in the zip you downloaded go to -> \META-INF\com\google\android and open updater-script find these lines:
Code:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "R800i" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "R800i" ||
       getprop("ro.product.device") == "R800a" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "R800a" ||
       getprop("ro.product.device") == "R800at" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "R800at" ||
       getprop("ro.product.device") == "zeus" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "zeus");
and delete them. Save it as it was with no .txt or . save it as update-script . And replace the old in the zip.

then download a slightly modified version of krabappel2548 cdma fix:
Mediafire

Or for milestone 5 download this with is the install zip with cdma libs:

cdma_aokp

Again thx to Supervenom, krabappel2548, ICXPlay, paxChristos, and anyone I forgot.
OK, I don't understand. First, I checked the original Supervenom zip, and it already has those lines removed. Second, I download the milestone 5 cmda zip, and notice its 100 mb, same-ish size as the full rom. So what exactly do I need to do to flash? Just the CDMA zip? Or original zip then CDMA zip? I don't comprende.

So I stupidly flashed the rom without using the CDMA fix. Does this mean I have to wait for my phone to start up or does it mean that I have to re flash everything and start again from scratch? I don't have my phone charger with me, so I don't have my cable with me at the moment. It really is frustrating me!

I haven't been able to get into the recovery. LOL. Does this mean that I have to just wait and then try getting into the recovery or what?

Woah. I just was able to get into CWM by pressing the back button. No wonder I was having so much trouble! thanks for the help

Edit: AAAAAANNNNNDDDD, I just found my cable

Edit 2: Now I've installed it. I had to travel all the way back home to get my SD card reader and load the file that way :/ Now it should work....

Edit 3: I love Team Kang's unicorn logo, and sparkles . I think it will boot!

Edit 4: It booted. Thanks for solving my problem folks

do I need to use fastboot to install the latest update to the rom or do I just use CWM? I have a Mac so if I don't have to use flashtool that would be awesome. I I do then I will install the android sdk and go from there.
