Works on DXLP9 + CF Root 5.6 CWM and 15 toggle mod

I've read about this app since Lenovo launched their tablet late last year. Now it's modded for GNote, FANTASTIC!!

I'm on Stock DXLP9 as above, tried the 1.1.24, flashed but the fallen android with red error triangle showed briefly and the phone rebooted. Checked, no app in the drawer or system/app.

Next flashed 1.0, works beautifully. Haven't installed extra languages yet, will try later. Will test ZH_CN and ZH_TW, and maybe VN.

ABSOLUTELY GREAT handwriting recognition. Only bummer is the fixed row height.

Palm rejection also works flawlessly. Wish S-Note had this good text recognition. Combined with S-Note's shape recognition, this would be perfect.

Running this now with update on Paranoid ICS from. Great app. Pity this kind of tech isn't built in across the system cause it would be a dream to write replies instead of touch type. Could end up being a killer Galaxy note feature.

I've tried on Criskelo v6 before and it's working. Now trying on KingDroid v3 and it's not working.

Did i miss something? :confused:

Finally I've managed to make NotesMobile run on my device.
"How to" is as follows,
(for the people who couldn't make it run on their devices with flashing .zip method.)

Download 1.0 version. (first post of this thread)

Unzip the zip

you will see two folders "META-INF" and "system", forget about "META-INF"

in the "system" there are two folders "app" and "lib"

in "app" there is one .apk , copy it into N7000's "/system/app" by using "root explorer"

reboot the device.

Do NOT run, NotesMobile yet.

go to folder "lib" , there are 3 files in it, copy them into "/system/lib" again by using "root explorer"

reboot device again.

Download language packs (first post of this thread)
Install your prefered language .apk's.

Run NotesMobile.

YES IT IS WORKING NOW :)

Works !!! HUAWEI MEDIAPAD s7-301u

I followed dionysius' directions and used the v1.1.24 and IT IS WORKING PERFECTLY on my Huawei Mediapad.

I tried it coz I suspect it is tweaked for the resolution, being same as the Note.

Now to get a capacitive stylus.

If only S-Note can be ported to generic Android.

Did anybody get v1.1 working?

Great App! Shame that developers provide it only to OEM manufactures.

I have to run v1.0 on my GoatRip ROM 2.1 (ICS), as v1.1 doesn't start. Does anybody know how to make it work?

Yeah, the developers should allow for supported sales via Play Store. I would purchase it for supported versions and updates.

Now that mentioned, how can I set it to use other languages in handwriting? It points me to language settings dic choices within Android Settings but I am not sure what I am meant to be doing to enable other dictionaries to the default in Notes Mobile.

I have downloaded the languages Zip and installed the language I want use with (Finnish) but aside fom that, left scratching my head. Be nice to have languages selection within app settings and independent of system languages.

Ok worked out language support. Just needed to change the Android Keyboard input language to the language I wanted to use with Notes Mobile.

Still a bit cumbersom for those of us who work in multiploe languages but at least it works.

Ok, finally have it working. After flashing the zip it did not come under my apps list. Had a lot of problems I won't mention. The important thing is root explorer told me I did not had enought space for the pasting when I tried to instal it manually. And the problem was not root explorer as I tought. I deleted some apps and then used cwm to instal it and now it is working and it is amazing.

Forgot to tell that the apps I deleted where stock apps. If you delete any other app it does not count.

Just one question - is there a way to install other languages - Bulgarian for example? There is no Bulgarian in the ZIP file. Thanks.

All of the languages that I have/know of are in the zip. So if it's not there then it probably doesn't exist. Sorry :(

How did you make version 1.24 run on stock DPI ? For me it's running only on ROMs with modified DPI.

    This is an app ported over from the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet. It's used for note taking and has handwriting recognition and palm rejection. I find it pretty useful for taking notes for my classes.​

    Sorry for the big download but it would be a pain to upload each individual apk. To install a language pack, I've always placed them in /system/app but I'm sure you could probably just install like any other app.

    You can change any font (but not add).
    You should raname any font file you like to one of the following: HanodedHand.ttf or LaBelleAurore.ttf and replace one in notesmobile_len.apk\assets by WinRar/

    Nope this app doesn't support landscape sadly. That would make it perfect.
