I do agree, coz if u flash the supercircle battery over the theme it gets fixed, although that also changes few other colors back to stock like the selection popup and stuff

From my utterly Fascinating I500 Fascinate :)

To me it seems it's not really a problem with the theme; it's a problem with the apps themselves. At first I thought the text in the buttons were graphics, but if I change the phone's font it changes as well. For some reason those fonts in the buttons though don't recognize the default font color the dialog buttons of the rest of the phone use.

Notta you have any thoughts on this?
I do recall awhile back that some apps would do that no matter what you did! I tried to look for a Tapatalk app, but my search claims it's a paid market app!

Have you tried decompiling Tapatalk and poke around for the colour it is calling?

I had thought that the last patch may have given a few problems. I just changed out a few of the secondary blacks to white hoping to make the buttons change then sort it out later... Alas, they did not!

By the way that lockscreen png I trans'd out was framework-res/res/drawable-hdpi/zzz_unlock_textbg.9.png

Hey Notta, I updated the 5-bar signal meter I posted that you added to your GeeWiz ICS 02P file. I tweaked the colors and bar edges so it's hopefully a little more accurate.

If you want to use it here you go: http://db.tt/bWl6fjoe
It's named v2 so you don't get them mixed up.

Also for lord dredd here's the updated one for the SuperClean3 version:
http://db.tt/2qXh1ryo

Also I don't know if anyone wants this, but I tweaked the GeeWiz framework-res.apk so it has the transparent puzzle lock text background and also has the stock GeeWiz numbers for the puzzle/glass lock screens. That Honeycomb version was always too hard to read IMHO.
Here's my version: http://db.tt/zgBlKgfy

I wish I was that talented, or had that much time. Maybe I'll give it a shot one of these days.

Also I wasn't pleased with the v2 meter as it was still a little blurry where the lines separated the bars. So I changed the bars to entirely black and I think it looks better to me anyway.

GeeWiz 2.8.1 ICS 5-bars v3: http://db.tt/eN22uspI

SuperClean3 version v3: http://db.tt/irfhAaat

Give them a try and see what you think. Maybe it's just me being too much of a perfectionist.

Also I made an alternative style that are regular bars but using the ICS colors.

Something I would like to learn is if there's a way to theme the GB keyboard to look like the ICS keyboard. Mainly how to make the space bar wider. I am currently using one of the ICS keyboards from the play store but sometimes when I rotate from Portrait to Landscape too quickly I get nothing but background until I rotate it back to Portrait then back again.

Honestly I've never touched a keyboard.

Would this be the LatinIME.apk your talking about, if so in Stock EH03 I poked around..

res/xml/kbd_phone.xml
res/xml/kbd_qwerty.xml
res/xml/kbd_symbols.xml

Those all make mention of the keyboard space and have some keyWidth dimensions. Like I said I've never touched a keyboard so I could be sending you on a goose chase, it's on you if you chase it...

I would think if that did work, you may need to alter other icons as well or just get rid of some icons next to the space bar maybe...

Here's a test port of the honeycomb theme! I did not change out colours or anything as I did this as testing. So basically just all the honeycomb drawables but I added the JellyBean animations! They don't work near as good as they would on ICS though! Also a zip to test JellyBean animations for ICS Theme with lock screen trans'd under text.

The same restore should cover this as well!

GeeWiz 2.8.1 Honeycomb Test Theme
http://d-h.st/uma 22.76 MB - 07/03/2012

GeeWiz 2.8.1 ICS JellyBean animations (Patch - framework-res.apk)
http://d-h.st/HCH 3.53 MB - 07/03/2012

Also scarfman4, did some more poking...

LatinIME.apk/res/values/dimens.xml

Code:
<dimen name="key_height">0.28999996in</dimen>
Thats what you want!

I tried below and it seemed like plenty...

Code:
<dimen name="key_height">0.38999996in</dimen>
Test zip if you like (CWM) 2.3.5 LatinIME.apk)
http://d-h.st/nUq 1.08 MB - 07/03/2012
