So , That's will be a bad news (I think I'm not in wrong , but if yes sorry)

Searching in the kernel source code for enabling ( if possible) the fast charge method ; I found that :

And I remember that sony say they had removed fast charging for reduce production cost..... It's possible it's precisely that chip??

So based on what you have found, maybe they have removed the chip?

Yes, I don't use English every day, :$

So, I think Sony has changed the battery management chip from one that has fast charge mode to one that don't have fast charge( look at the picture, there are the name of the chip)

P.S looking at my not understood post, you must remove the "I" before but and add battery management before the brackets

Yeah thats what the posts on sony mobile said. I suppose it still supports a high draw which somewhat equals fast charge, but it just doesn't have the chip which must add some extra features. Wish i new the exact differences.

If you Google those chips you can get a good idea for what's going on. I the first is rated to 500ma and can provide power to use otg devices. The second is rated at 1.5A.

I reckon the first is for when the data pins are not bridged, and and the second for when they are.
