You can try this yourself.

1. Just make a nandroid backup of your current ROM
2. Flash stock P5110 ROM and root it
3. Play with the goodies
4. If you are not satisfied; restore your tablet

I own a P5110 and I have flashed a custom P5113 ROM with no problems whatsoever so the other way around will do just fine, I guess.

I flashed 5110 stuff on my tab with no problems. You might have a few bugs, but YMMV.

Better for who? This ROM is the latest in contrast to the European firmware, with all the goodies like Polaris Office inside.
Beyond that, there are more regions where people buying Samsung stuff then only Europe.

So I totally disagree.
