If u can flash custom Rom like mine that is on ota base u will be half happy
U can probably flash only signed boot.IMG so u need after every Rom flash official signed boot.IMG that response to the Rom base

Oh crap....should I flash a recovery and flash SU? See what happens? Or could that brick it?
I tried installing it from the market, but that didn't really work :')

no it cannot brick your device. Do a nandroid so you can restore it if it's not booting afterwards

It worked Or not... :P
Thanks buddy!

So, rooting the OTA ROM is not an option as of yet. Superuser installs, but when you actually need to gain root access, it takes a while before something comes up. The only app that showed that it was working (which requires root) was Adfree. For some reason that worked, but it did not show up in the SU app as provided root access.

Weird...but long story short. It's not possible yet to root the OTA update on hboot 1.53
