1st off .. this is the only rom i have kept using for more than a few days. many thanks for it !
kies is still not working though .. instead of just seeming to take a long time to do nothing and getting no error message i now get a message (on kies) cannot start service on the device, please disconnect then reconnect the device.
its certainly not a show stopper as the only thing i ever used it for was phonebook backup or editing
a few apps/games seem to bug out .. but most likely android issues with things made for GB instead of ICS if it makes a difference.

now can we have S3 icons yesterday please as your rom is the only thing helping to stop me buying a S3 which i can't really afford at the moment. sad how S2 prices have dropped so quick . here in Thailand there are lots of outlets seemingly dumping for as low as 13,999 thai baht (440 USD). nearly all phones here are sold sim free (665 USD for a sim free S3)

5 x 5 screen would be a very nice addition. does it work ok as i read it screws up on screen rotation?

Ye some of those issues are related to the TouchwizUX. I just have a important migration to complete for work this weekend but when i do have time will look into it.

Working on the icons atm as well so expect a patch in this coming week or late Sunday still to get the SGS3 icons in with a possible Lag fix on the launcher.

I will also look at including the DSP manager with the Library files so that it works with my rom. (forgot to add the lib files with the file i uploaded :P ) Just have to find some time to test it all and you should see a patch soon

The 1.6 has the settings in it but like i said before its very buggy. You could probably install the beta 3 as well but then every time you reboot your phone the app drawer will go missing and you need to hold down the home button open task manager and then clear your memory before it manages to fix itself.

I am testing Beta3 at the moment but i dont like updating with a bugged ui... Would rather wait a bit so it gets fixed before i put out the update officially.


Yes the icon pack can be used but i havent checked it just yet. Neet to see what it replaces 1st.

also put smartstay on and thats adds a nice touch.
got it looking and feeling just right for me.

Was just busy getting my tablet sorted the last week :P

Getting the Asus Transformer TF300T later today. Will be using my SGS2's Bluetooth Tethering with Portal Rom so get it connected.

So it opens up a few more areas now to modify :P

alas poor S2 i knew him well ..
just had an offer so near current retail values for my S2 i had to let it go .. farewell .. lol

now do i buy a galaxy note which i can have today .. or hold out for a S3 which may take a few weeks to gather the extra $$
