That would be a first..

From looking at the cab file the most striking thing is a new WWAN (cellular modem) driver and the inclusion of an up-to-date CSC.

So have people been trying out this firmware? I'm waiting it out because I don't want a Nordic CSC.

does this firmware update block an interop unlocked phone?

my omnia is updated to tango 8773.98 and interop and roottools still work (i used the cab sending metod and a guide how to prevent relock on wph homepage, refeerred on the cab, oem thread here on xda) but what happen if i update through zune?

The firmware doesnt as such block interop, its the problem that later Samsung firmwares blocked provisioning via the windowbreak method (if you'd already done it before upgrading f/w you will probably be ok). Anything later than a KK2 f/w is not good apparently. Looking at your stats your prob less than a KK2? (check in *#1234#)

My versions as follows, with an XXLB2 rom

f/w: 2424.12.2.2
radio: 2424.11.9.1
boot: 6.2.2.9

How is your phone unlocked? I was Chevron/interop unlocked before upgrading to Tango but updated via Zune and had to revert back and then upgrade as per the cab sending/no internet way . I've also used Jaxbot preventrelco xap to remove the phonehome url.

I'll probably give it a go and try this f/w as I like to have the latest version of everything but if you're happy enough with your phone as is I would probably leave it.

I might give it a go.. Like you I've been having massive problems with the 3G/Wifi connection. I see somewhere that you say Tango doesnt fix it. TBH it seems slightly better but still need to confirm. Once that is confirmed its then probably more a problem of the even worse matter of wifi speeds only hitting about 600k but thats another issue!! Roll on when my contract expires and I can upgrade (possibly/reluctantly/nervously) to WP8.

Remind me again what the CSC file is and why a Nordic one is not good?

Sorry to report that I've tried it out but it doesn't fix the wi-fi/3g priority bug.

I've reverted to by backup (KK2) and I'll hopefully get LD1 by Zune.

Now my phone is interop blocked

I wait for a fix, I don't know to downgrade and apply the revert fix :P
