No. You must flash naa 12 kernel then restore nandroid.
The nandroid backup does not include the kernel, at least not on our device.

PROBLEM FOUND!!
Since the phone was almost unusable I tried reverting to original ROM but the problem continues... so I concluded that it must be an hardware problem.
Installed a compass app and the needle was always rotating and the north was incorrect.
Tried to calibrate using the suggested figure 8 or rotating the phone 2 or 3 times over each axis, but without success.
The only way was to shake the phone as suggested here: http://youtu.be/GqqprobCV_0

Now I revert again to CM7...

Hi! do someone knows why my phone vibrates while calling and sensor turns on and off (i mean every time screen turns on It vibrates twice, and when i aproach to my ear and turns off it vibrates again, and every time the screen turns on/off it vibrates twice (while calling) :s ) i´m getting mad!! jaja

The new superuser messed with my cm settings (pointed on CPU setings) even when remove old su replaced with new one ... no one work, after update new SU and binary and then reboot CPU revert on 122~600 Mhz and ondemand ... what can I do to fix this!

I have precisely the same issue on MiniCM9 except that the governer resets to SmartAssV2.

Ok then I see its app issue not the ROM coz on stock GB its mess with root needet app too ... when the toast its on while boot show root denied denied denied ....

try with this: before you update su app, delete permissions you give to the apps, then update su, and give permissions again
