How to obtain root for the rezound?

Hi can someone point me in the right direction to root my phone?

it depends on what rom and what version your phone is. example: im on stock rom and im on v3.14.605.10

If you haven't modified your phone at all, you'll have to unlock the bootloader first.

If you already unlocked your bootloader, then reboot to recovery and flash super-user files. (You'll need to flash recovery first if you haven't already.)

Damn I swear there are like 600 of these threads lol. That aside you can unlock ur boot loader, instructions on htcdev.com and then flash suoeruser in development options in amon ra or you can just flash a custom rom after you unlock and install amon ra. All roms are pre rooted
