EVO 3d overheating

I recently noticed that my EVO 3d began over heating at moderate use. The battery isn't what's hot though. It's definitely not software related because it just started to and I've been running this Rom for a week now. Does anyone else have this problem? Or what do you think is causing it?

Mine overheats, too. Especially when I am just browsing the internet or playing a game. Its probably just the screen though, because when I check what uses up battery power in settings, the screen uses up the most.

I had this only when I was using certain ROMS. (i.e. AOSP GB or CM9)
Also, when the CPU is OC'ed it tends to get quite hot for me too.

Thanks I just found it strange that my battery didn't get hot, but the rest of the phone did. I'll try a different Rom and see if that works
Btw I'm not overclocked. I'm running chubbz Ville c2 port
