I don't know if this has been already reported. When I charge the htc chacha, I noticed the charge LED goes green even when it hasn't been fully charged yet. Ex. batt indicates 94%, and LED goes green. is it just me?
happens for me too
also, dunno if its the fact that I didnt do the wipe beforehand or not, but after updating to the latest release, the boot logo no longer fits the screen. not a major issue, but still worth mentioning.
As for the camera, it works great, but if you change settings(I dont actually know what the features are, but the bottom right button on the screen has a little camera icon. if you press it, a menu comes up. the top option makes the screen just turn yellow. changing it back, or to the other option crashes the camera.
maybe these functions are to change to the front camera or something? I'm unfamiliar with the icons.
a few applications crash randomly, but I assume this is because I didn't do a wipe beforehand. will try a full wipe and install when I get home from my vacation
Just tried Link2SD with an ext-4 on my sdcard and it works great. Already linked all my apps and moved them to the sd card. Got 16 apps downloaded and installed. Free user space: same as on initial boot.

i did a full wipe beforehand. same with the bootlogo. haven't tried the camera yet, but maybe it's also the same with you.
OK, back to ICS and I am so happy! It goes very smooth (Trebuchet is not top notch, I may try Holo) and the camera works, even the flash (although it's a little bit out of sync, as in CM7.2) but I didn't fiddle with the options just yet... OTOH Barcode Scanner works beautifully (Codemon doesn't though) and most things go now as they are supposed to.
Wifi still needs to be unhidden to lock (and I guess under channel 13), but the keyboard lits up as expected, although automatic bright is still a bit picky; the only issue I see now is battery. I have set the interactive cpu governor, which should be about as efficient as ondemand, maybe someone else may relate their experience...
So, this is approaching a very usable status and (front camera barring) should be soon ready to be added to CM9 official!
Now, once I find a little bit of time, it's the moment to face front attack the qwerty spanish (and others, I assume) keyboard issue and get the 'ñ' back... :) If I ever manage to get it working, I'll be sure to post it for everyone's joy ;-P
Thanks for a superb work!
PS- voice search keeps dying without doing anything, maybe the voice interface changed too much?
To ease the process of doing the keyboard files, I'll make them public in a github, both the decompiled CM7 version and the ICS version, so you people can edit them directly from the web, and so I'll push them in the builds. I'll try on Sunday evening. That will be great that everyone could participate :)

Give me a shout when you're done. I'll have some free time tomorrow therefore I can work on some files.
