Actually just flashed this 5 different ways with same result. Either half characters or no font at all on most windows. Also no sound at all. Stumped.

Edit 1:Ah, crap...any rom I try now yields missing characters in dialog boxes and in menus such as settings.

Edit 2: whew! thrill seeker 2.1 seems to work.

V10E_00.kdz and V21E_00.kdz are now added to the list.
I've also updated all the links, excluding LG KDZ, to the ones on my server.

Dark I'm going to get a computer borrowed from a friend cause i have a mac i have "LG_Flash_Package.7z" LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN36AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3. 6"
and "V20P_00.kdz" all downloaded and saved on a sd card does any of this involve using the internet?

You only need the LG Flash Package and the V20P_00.kdz
LGUnitedMobileDriver_S4981MAN36AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3. 6 is already included.

You shouldn't need the internet. Just make sure you know exactly how to do it from the guide.

so the flash procces is the same ? how long does it take? and after this is done does it mean I'm on the official GB for lg thrill? like its not a rom?

Can someone help me find an lg update tool that actually works????

no matter where i download it from it wont install, it hangs and keeps
telling me that there was an error in the microsoft extensions?!?

i followed steps to reset the winsock settings thru command prompt
and thru the browsers themselves and B2CApp.exe still won't download.
i get the same error...

is there something else i should be doing? something i'm doing wrong?
an alternate place to download B2CApp??

and i also tried the flash package and the B2CApp also gives me the same error.
