I haven't tried setting the G button for that...but in the advanced camera settings you can set vol+ or vol- to do the same thing, which is almost the same as using the G button. In fact using Vol+ is more comfortable than the Gkey.

Default Port stock Camera

Hi Boype,

First of all, thank you very much for this amazing ROM. It is nearly almost perfect and was the reason that made I buy another P970 for my father.

I would like to ask you if it is possible to port the camera drivers from the original ROM into CM7. Doing so would solve the HD videos recording issue, which in my opinion is the only major problem that is avoiding CM7 to become full stable for our devices.

Thank you again and congratulations for your hard work!

I'm actually currently working to add the g-button as a possible camera shutter key. I'm quite positive that I can do it.

I'm also working on this issue at the moment. However, all I can think about is replacing the responsible modules from CM7 with the ones from stock ROM. However, I don't think that attempt will be very successful... But I'll do some more researching about the issue.

Also, I'm aiming to release a new version some time next week (like in 4 or 5 days). I don't have too much time at the moment, since I have to hand in a paper for university on Monday.

Download this and install. I included the correct wireless module.

Hi there. I tried to install this ROM but it bricked my phone and I don´t know why....What is the problem? The zip file with the ROM have the Kernel inside or do I need to flash the Kernel after installing the ROM? Thanks

Edit: I manage to install the ROM now....just having a little question. Can I flash the LG keyboard over this ROM?

You gotta search if you can download the keyboard somewhere... you can probably even find an .apk file which you can simply install instead of flashing.

I suppose then there's no way of making it work... Try this keyboard, it's what I'm using and it's pretty awesome

I've started getting sod and wakelocks with this rom. Only basic apps installed, so i'm sure it's the rom. Back to latest CM nightly.

Could it be the kernel?
