I have quite big battery issue. On WM battery discharges normally (as for the old battery), but under GBX it discharges in "turbo mode" - few minutes of work causes total discharge by the GBX judgement. Funny thing is that if I reboot to WM, battery _stays_at_the_same_level_ONCE_, because if I reboot then WM to WM, battery level immediately goes UP to the correct value (normal discharge amount for the usage time).
The battery voltage is completely strange, it shows 4221, then 4222, then 4223 and then 4222, next 4223, then 4222, next 4221 and so on. Simply stupid values, impossible.
I observed this issue earlier when I tried to use XDAndroid, but I was shouted at that this is test release and told to get back later. So here I am .
To be honest, I even compared it to the (not liked here) Neopeek's GB - it "discharges" battery even faster (in about a minute), so I suppose it is general battery driver problem.
Anyone had same issue on HTC Touch HD? I'm trying again to set up android on this phone, but without battery it is completely impossible.
Android is going to consume more battery.
If you want to do more, and drain the battery quickly - run Android.
If you want to do little, and drain the battery slowly - run WinMo.
Regardless, there was a lot of work to reverse-engineer the battery driver for the TP2. The kernel cannot be used straight up on a Blackstone, but perhaps a Blackstone developer can port this work. One can hope...

But this is not what I meant - initially (few months ago) there was no such _big_ drain - of course, android drained battery faster than wmobile, but not SO fast. Now it drains my battery in _few_minutes_ - it is completely _impossible_ in the terms of the _real_drain_, and I already told you that _after_ this drain i rebooted phone _twice_, and the power was _back_on_, so it wasn't a real drain, it was FAKE.

Ok, I have no clue then. I've never heard of such a thing - draining a full battery in a matter of minutes... perhaps you should reset the battery calibration?
There's a tool on the Market, I believe it's called simply "Battery Calibration". Some TP2 folk said it did improve battery life, but only briefly - say a day or two.
As I stated previously, the real solution is a properly reversed battery driver - which I doubt is going to happen for this device.

Hmm, ok, maybe it's time to sell this phone cheaply.
Sorry. [...] I thought you are having trouble with this phone development, just tried to help. It will never happen again...
Still don't get how you talking about selling the phone cheaply helps with development.
Any developer is welcome to join... the project on the Blackstone front never really had a developer. A few came and went, but very few... none stayed long either.
So if you want to help, by all means. If you're just going to talk about selling your phone go elsewhere - these types of posts have NO business in a development forum.
I've found a complete and stable solution to replace the tiny Keyboard.
It's called Keyboard from Android 2.3 and you can find it for free on the market. It has exactly the same functions that the original keyboard. You can add languages, too.
