Default Phone not booting after reassemby

My phone got some water damage and stopped working, so I opened and cleaned it (alcohol).

Now after reassembling, it won't turn on at all (booted in hboot before).

The led works when connecting to charger, and even shows loading, but when I press power, the charging led just turns off and nothing happens (powering on without charger also fails).

I tried reassemblying again and made sure everythign was connected, but no change.

Any idea what else I could try?

But wouldn't the phone vibrate and the led flash on boot? (led definitely works when power is connected)

oh so it doesn't even vibrate? hmm. Maybe you disconnected your upper board from your lower board. Go on youtube and find the "Bravo disassembly video" or something like that, take it apart and put it back together again. I'd use latex gloves if I were you too btw.
