Is there a trick to get the fingerprint lock working? I am on 6/29 and tried to install zip from earlier post without any success.

I guess I can unzip to see if there is a way to install it by copying files.

Better version of VVM is here: http://epicaokp.blogspot.com/2012/05...voicemail.html

Flashes from recovery so you don't have to dick with root explorer, also no bugs (I had lots of ghosting with the one posted in the OP).

I can't wait until WiMAX is integrated into CM9. But I wonder if tethering will work on 4G? I have a tethering plan, so it works on the stock ROM, but I have a feeling it won't work with the native app.

I would use this ROM as my DD if that were the case (at least until PrimOG is fully operational).

I always had success with the earlier versions of wifi-tether but bought pda-net, and never looked back. It delivers full speed data transfer regardless of radio (IE, 3g-4g-1x), even wifi. I too pay for the hotspot, so it feels good getting the best performance possible. If USB will work for you, and you don't mind supporting devs with the $15 dollar hit, Pda-net is the way to go. And no, I'm not a spokesman, just a satisfied customer.
