I made my I815 VZW to be a nice big phone. I love it and the voice and text work very good. I set up to receive notifications if I have a missed call or text just in case thru my google voice account. Since i did that I kill always the apps with Advanced task killer, removed the weather widget, have a black screen for better battery life and for 20 hours of use I have more than 50% battery. Just make sure to set up- check the box "Forward this calls to Google Chat". Alredy ported my number to Google Voice using T-Mobile Sim for $10 with $3 of talk credit prepaid, cuz my carrier Cricket is not supported by Google for porting the number. Alredy tried with Skype with Skype Online Number but the Skype constantly closes due to some unknown reasons and also there is no option to customise the ringtones in skype and it is so quiet hard to hear when some body call me.
Get the free app Ringtone Maker to make a custom ring from some mp3 file and replace the rings in Groove IP. Send SMS thru the Google Voice web page.You can add contacts only thru Google Voice web page. Do not forget to check the box in Groove IP settings: ""Partial wake lock" to keep the program awake. Got this from ebay item #160817042329 (paste in ebay search bar)with Lithium-ion battery will use it when I fly overseas and #110846225406 to use it like a GPS Mount. Also Samsung OEM book case and screen protector. I carry the tab in the rear pocket in my jeans.
Still need ICS or fully working Cyanogenmod to have faster device.

its a real shame that Samsung didn't somehow get the 7.7 right. The device deserves to be a hit.
