When I install 1.1.1 on CM9, the phone freezes at Google loading screen.

Yeah, I never got it to wrk with default cm9 kernel. Try deleting the UV file from the zip and flashing a different kernel.

Yeah I used 1.1 cause developers use different frequency steps and I wanted the phone to be at the approx 1ghz step rather than the 700mhz step.

Anyway, below is my latest revision. I'll also add to the OP for easy finding.

It would be great to see this updated for JB. I've installed the latest on unofficial aokp nightly 8/7 build and it simply doesn't load the script at boot.

Using lean kernel, tried a few variants. Just seems like script is ignored as my CPU spy doesn't show the CLO k speed changing as it should

This will work with ANY rom that has init.d support. Please check your kernel devs thread to verify init.d support.

Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot

I just uploaded it and I'm on EOS ROM. It loaded with no problem. I'll report back with battery savings.
