Yeah and a kid coming in a week or so, as well as 4 cats... well 3 our ours, the other one is my roommate's. He was my roommate before I met my wife. Just one of those things where he's not causing any problems and money is good so why kick him out?

Arghhh so hard to decide. I worry I may not be able to raise enough money too, and honestly I got a 16 gig flyer don't wanna downgrade, but as ridiculous as it sounds, raising $200 is easier than $250. SD slot would be more important to me if they'd let you install game data on it. That's what sucks about the Flyers 8 gig partition for internal storage, I actually ran out from installing games on it. I think if it was out now the decision would be easier too, but I'm going to have to go without a tab for a couple weeks. Decisions decisions.

I think right now the decision is I won't be selling it to pre order the new nexus but in a couple weeks its a possibility. Or just wait till Christmas time and buy one without having to scrape. Yeah so much for sleeping on it

Thanks! Btw I'm keeping the Flyer. Still getting a nexus at some point but might as well keep my original purchase regardless . I know I've complained about the Flyer a lot but I don't hate it. And I still want to see where senseless and Lisbon go from here do for now the Flyer stays!

From what i'm hearing the Senseless Rom is really flying. I too am waiting for Lisbon to develop to the point that I can use it as my daily driver. The thing is though for my uses i really need the pen to be functioning accurately. I also would like to have the MHL working.

I'd say anymore that's why I won't get a pen. It's just not built into android source and developers have to almost come up with their own way to get it working. I think I read somewhere that cyanogenmod team snuffed our tab because they couldn't figure out how to get the pen working and that's a big deal for them because eveything has to work. The pen idea is cool but you almost have to stay on stock to use it.

Can't really regret this tab too much. Sure I paid as much at the time as I would of for a nexus tab now but waiting for the nexus would of meant I wouldn't of had the cash to buy one when it came out anyway. I'm married I know how that goes lol. If you want something you have to buy it when you have the cash or your wife will spend it on something else!

Well i sport the flyer for half a year now and will prolly oreder a evo view 4g from the states to use 4g networks here in eu, so im staying with it fo sure,

However for 200$ you cant go wrong, so i'll buy it nevertheless ( and a nexus q, that i need asap!)

The nexus is a media tablet, you know for vids, pictres, it will be a much different use than the flyer..

One thing that concernes me is googles emphasys on the google play bond, it seems that everything you read, watch, listen MUST come from google play (hence no sd card slot, but a external hdd fixes it) and that means i need to buy stuff.. kinda reminds of apple..

Congratulations on your new child! Mine is coming in a few weeks too, It's the Nexus!

You never know, I put my Flyer on Gumtree (UK equivalent of craigslist afaik?) on Wednesday night at around half eight UK time and someone handed over £160 for it at four thirty in the afternoon the next day! Haha

The pen was a cool gimmick while it lasted, But towards the end of my three months with it, I completely stopped using it and left it at home.. I'm really not the artsy type - I can't draw to save my life haha and I never saw myself writing with the pen at all

You should try Craigslist or eBay, You never know :)

Its all good, I still plan on getting one but I'm realizing the Flyer is only as bad as you make it I've found a new found love for the thing with the senseless rom, and I'll probably keep it after I pick up a nexus, maybe make it my wife's toy

Yeah I don't even own a pen. Always too expensive to pick up and almost makes you a slave to stock roms
