That being said, I've been reading this thread, and have seen a few different things.

So here is what I am understanding, and want to get some clarification on.

If I download the two Official Sprint Flashing software files, the FC12 and FD02, and flash them one after another, I should be at complete stock, ready for any OTA update? I always like to have a fallback plan which will bring me back to complete stock, perfect in any way.

Would that work the way I described? Flashing FC12 first, then flashing FD02?
You only need to restore fc12, the ota's will follow after that

Sent from a phone...

I did read somewhere that the FC12 leaks were causing an issue with the LTE baseband or something similar. I just want to make sure I have a backup plan

Is this wierd? I just restored via odin using FC12 stock tar and all my pics and stuff are wiped as expected(backed em up to pc) but all my downloaded apps and the wallpaper I had on before I restored are still there. The wall paper was just there but the apps obviously redownloaded theirself. Does my google account backup apps now too? Also I didnt get an ota to fd02 after either.

When you go thru the setup wizard and tell it to restore from your Google account that's just what it does. Apps, wallpaper, settings, WiFi passwords..
