Default Kindle Fire charger charging vibrant?

My vibrant charger is currently faulty, yet the Fire charger works great. Any reasons not to do this?

No. You can use 3rd party cords to charge. Where you might run into problems is through data transfer or Odin. For some reason, almost all the Odin issues lately have been caused/resolved bc of the data cord or USB ports.

I use the Samsung one at home for data and Odin but use a Rocketfish core at work to charge.
