Quick question though. Going from CM9 to this ill have to do a full wipe obviously. Will this clear my SD card (i.e. my nandroid backup of CM9).
No, your sdcard will remain intact, it just wipes /system /data and /cache.

EDIT:Actually, I think the zip just wipes /system hence the need to do a factory reset. I actually did the upgrade on the train the other day.

Anyone know how to get cards in google now to show up. Somehow i swiped mine away. In settings i have the cards to always appear

Phone: GSM Galaxy Nexus ROM: Jellybean 4.1 JRN84D - v2 (6/29/12) Kernel: Franco's r210 Recovery: ClockworkMod Recovery Launcher: TouchWiz Additions: none...yet
-----------thanks!
I remember someone having a similar problem, that he swiped away his cards. If I remember right, he had to go into Google now settings and turn that card off and then on again.

Hope that helps.

The official roms delete everything, the custom roms like cyanogenmod skip sdcard.

This does not delete SD card. I flashed this like any other ROM. Just follow the steps see OP.
