The instructions for installations are not at all clear. I'm stuck after step5.Step6 doesn't work what OP says..


6 run reboot into recovery.bat and the device will enter recovery mode and you can backup,install or restore your device.
(note:you should press the volume key three rounds and recovery will work!)

version 2.0 work very well on my s7-104

It is nice ROM indeed. Please edit the batch file for recovery. You should take first 2 lines out because that flash modified boot logo in Chinese. Just do the line fastboot flash recover recovery.img. The boot.img and logo.img are not required to maintain stock boot log.

how to start:

1.you need instali recovery on huawei ideos s7 slim

how to use(windows):
1 download the zip.
2 unzip the file.
3 power off your device. press the volume up and power key at the same time until the device enters the fastboot mode.
4 run install.bat
5 wait a few seconds and reboot

2.back up your stock rom(internal sdcard)
3.put this rom in sd card
4.go again and start in boot recovery than do full wipe/factory
5.than install from sdcard and after that reebot
6.when rom start wait to everything upgrade and tablet will shut down

Hello there! I have performed the recovery and the tablet is now working.
Haven't installed the ROM, since there is no download link. But I am OK with the stock ROM.

My problem now is that I can't add a Google account. It gives me an error saying that the device can't establish a secure connection with google servers.

I can use the web browser, but no way to add or create new google account. In the settings, I can connect with my home wifi and browse the web, but when I try to add an account to perform sync, the device tells me that I am not connected.

Any tip?

no development is not dead i havent time for this because my work but i promise litle update in neht 20 days for pirate 2.2.3 ,2.3.7 and ubuntu 12.04 for s7 slim.Also my s7 slim is on repairs about 30 days because i live in f... Serbia where nokia servis repair huawei tablets under warranty.work on 2.3.7 can be quicker that I am not the only who first tries to update and it takes a lot of time if I had more friends here who would be tried out as an example for a experimental builds cm ROMs which are works that I went to some things easier to believe that the trust went to lose a lot of times when I have to destroy the tablet to go from start to dload a file, then the whole procedure described here if there are interested to help me i gona move the few things on my rapidshare account and I have even LEWA port 2.3.7 which I managed to run and to show me the programs and then either restart or initial screen is standing, and have a mobile network i can call my tablet ,i see usb icon and debuging icon but I was already 15 days was almost canceled the touch screen so maybe someone with a tablet may be able to unlock the home screen and give him a chance and as successor 2.2.3 rom sorry on my very bad english and do not lose hope
