his original post was go to SkyIce 17 and look for battery and chargers posts, try typing that you get 10+ pages of the same comment. How would I know what to search for and where in the first place? He also said he posted a link, well if you posted it you probably have it, so no one asked he to do the searching for me, all I asked if he has a link just post it here, (as you may notice this is a different thread)

I've spend 2 hours reeding on this, so don;t give me the bs on that I should search, I do. But when someone asks a simple favour and you have time to write a 500 word answer and the other guy has time to post 20+ times where to search, I think you had time to simply post the link he already had.

And please I asked the question, all you two wrote is not the place, PM me next time.

And I am not fighting with anyone, simply answering your opinion with my.

Thanks, anyway, I it is helpfully reply.

That's new.
First use Rogers Official Kernel, it's a good one.
Then if that does not work try re-flashing everything

Thanks, and I am not lazy and I did read. And the problem you talk about and all the links you posted talk about is with Stock Charger vs non stoke. I said I am using Stoke charger so this does not apply.

All it is is USB Charge vs Wall Charge and it's Kernel problem, actully the simple fix is having the Screen on when unplugging.

Don't call people names if you are too lazy to read what they are asking.
P.S. you have to say something PM, this is not the place.
If you go to Advanced Search you can refine your search by the user who posted it. I gave you the user and the search terms to use, along with the thread to search.

I wouldn't have had to post "Search for my post..." 20 times if the 20 people who asked the question had searched or read the thread first.

I don't keep the links in my posts available to me. They're only available to me by searching for my posts (which is what I suggested you do).

I don't give links most of the time because I've already done the legwork for you and I'm usually on my phone or at work and a quick nudge in the right direction is all I have time for. That should be plenty.

EDIT: and because I don't want this post to be entirely off topic (contrary to what you may think, I HATE contributing to the slop), I'll mention that I disabled Smart Stay altogether and notice an increase in battery life. It's the only change to the system I made since yesterday and my battery was better (not that it was bad). Without Smart Stay showing up in the Battery info, it's hard to quantify how much battery it uses turning on the front camera to look for your eyes. Apparently, it's a decent amount.

I'll also add that with Sky ICS, I leave BT, Wifi, and Auto-brightness ALWAYS on, even though I don't use them at all while I'm at work. Sean's so damned good with his ROMs that I can leave that stuff on and not worry about it.

I'm probably one of the few people who uses jd and gets benefit out of it.

I set it to disable wifi when I leave home, to periodically enable data on weekdays (I'm at work in front of a PC, don't really need the phone constantly checking and wasting battery life), and a few other things and it saves me battery power compared to not using it.

I agree though if you just blindly enable it, it's more of a nuisance than anything else.

I understand that Juice Defender had the ability to toggle 2G/3G but only "if the ROM supports it". Does this ROM support this feature? If so, that would be a huge battery saver. Also, can Juice Defender toggle to 2G except while on a call?

i didn't try that feature on 4.2f, but on 4.2e it didn't work.

Same here. I had Juice Defender Ultimate and my battery life rocks now compared to what I had once I switched to ICS from GB.
