Its like that for a reason. Some Roms don't supply any radio and some do. This was is the safer way to make it work.

Huge problem on my phone

i'm running precision on i717R. Only modem that ever worked was the original ICS blaze. Everything else i have tried give me the no simcard error, i have cleaned and reflashed many times. Also this exact same thing happens on my friends at&t one. Can't find a way to fix it. Only one works and if you try anything else you are screwed and have to wipe and start again. I have never even once got other ones to work, I even reflashed the same modem file 10x to make sure it's not random bs.

Blaze gives me maximum 40% signal, i can put my phone on the mobilicity antenna in downtown and still get 40% max. and don't ask about data speeds, with galaxy s i was getting 3-5 down an about .5 up
with this i barely get .3 up and .004 down



i just don't understand if the hardware is the same how come mine and my buddys won't accept any other modem files?

What's precision rom?

Hi i am using the team perfection objection ics rom and i had flashed the kid-test radio and it was working for a while then my data stopped working. then i flashed ulkv and icsblaze and still no data anyone knows whats wrong?

Reflash the rom and then the radio

T-Mobile had a data outage nationwide over the last 12 hours. That was most likely the cause.

yup, went offline around 6 p.m. central here in OK last night.

do i have to unlock first my note to use it with tmobile or just flash radios, & modem?
