You don't need to flash the stock kernel add on, this was only for previous versions.

Other than that, try full wipe in cwm and then install the rom without the add-on.

Hi, I installed the ROM and flashed the Zip for Alfs Kernel.

I tried to approach my phone to my near but it doesn't call nobody.
I opened Text message app, I opened a discussion with someone, and approached the phone to my near but it doesn't call. Could someone help me plz ?

Hi everybody!!!

After several month I've finally decided to come back ti GingerDX! I really like the new version 28b, but I've a problem that cause a continuous rebooting of my X8.
I've removed the sim lock using wotanserver, then I've succesfully unlocked the bootloader, flashed Alfs kernel v8, wiped the phone, installed GDX 28b and at the end I've flashed the add-ons for the kerkel (addons v007)... the problem is with the mobile data connection: network signal starts to jump from 3G to 2G and after about a minute of this jumping the phone reboots....

Anyone has an idea on how to solve this problem?

hmmmmm on the contrary here lost 0% over night flight mode

Go to GingerDX settings and tic the "Pick up to call" option
Just test it and work very well

Thanks it works, is it possible to open a contact and then when I approach the phone cell to my near, it calls him?

Not at the moment. Maybe in future releases. The thing is that some contacts have multiple numbers.

Isn't it possible to tell the phone to handle it instead? When you press the Call button, the phone dials a number as default or asks you which number to dial. So instead of directly dialing, if multiple numbers are detected, you could make the script forward the request to the phone app and have it handle it. Just a suggestion.
Is there anyway to support third party dialers? I use exDialer and would really like to try it out. Great rom as always by the way.
