No mate, stock kernel is fine, it is a bug in certain modified kernels, most Dev's have addressed the issue.

Stick to latest Siyah, CM9 or any mentioned favourably in this thread

I've been using this rom for a while now, almost everything is going great but i'ed like to report some bugs.
1. Scrolling while charging is abit buggy
2. Facebook crop images (i open FB through the browser) the application is working perfectly but i hate fb app since it is a rogue application
3. Browser crash and close without reporting any error in both tablet and phone UI
4. Some other application crash but some work with different DPI Which is no big deal
Although ik very satisfied with this ROM Thanks alot and keep it up

Hey I did that but still the same issue..
How r u all managing your contacts???as in can you add a new contact to phone memory??this option was there in GB.on this ROM there is no such option and also when I search for contacts few of my contacts are not there.
But when I dial the number they seem to become visible in the dialer drop down

You have right, this isn't the right place, the best that you can do it's try both yourself and then make your choice.

Btw, even if you don't change the dpi, here on Paranoid you always can set some of the both "Phone mode" and have all "normal"

Love this rom specially the support of the devs.
Im currently planning to buy a Galaxy note because my wife gonna use my s2 and the main reason that i want a note is because of this rom(gnex was my first choice but theres only 16gb for GSM version) and i checked forum of note and there's a paranoidandroid rom by imilka i think but its v.4 or something and also checked gnex and its the same version as this so i went to check the website found at op and checked but it seems that there's no rom for note in build status section so i just want to ask if the note or the paranoidandroid rom for the galaxy note is official paranoid android or is officially supported or part of your team which i know is the original paranoid android?

I think you can only have problems when using stock kernel and doing a full wipe.
