I have a problem with the keys though. 'alt+y' shows the pound sign instead of '@' while 'alt+p' shows '@' instead of '~'. I have tried editing the chacha-keypad.kcm file and replaced the one in the /system/usr/keychars folder. however,it still not working as intended. Is there a fix for this? Thank you!
Just For your information when i did this... i forgot to check the permissions on the file that i updated... so please do that.... or try solution provided in this thready http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1496730

Anyone else having issues with Google navigation and it not finding GPS? It finds GPS on Maps (even though the location is a little out), but when I switch to navigation, it just stays stuck in the 'looking for GPS signal' mode.

DONATE TO ME
@jd_dpgc: Good luck!

I've been using it for about a week or two, and I absolutely love it. Updated with the camera+callerID fixed version while I was on vacation, and got plenty of use out of the camera
Absolutely love how well this is coming along so far. The phone is about 100 times better with ICS.
The stock rom was absolute garbage. :P

Anyway, keep up the good work!
And so long as I can find the paypal of everyone involved, then I will be donating some moneys to those involved in development

I had the same problem with SuperOSR. After I used IMO as Messenger it worked fine.

The strange thing is that some apps won't disconnect (IMO) and some will (Google Talk, AirDroid). But when you have something running in the background that won't disconnect than all the other apps also keep the connection.

You could at least try this with CM9 and report here if it worked.

I will try using IMO and see how it runs for a day or two and then report back.

the apps i use are : gchat, FB chat and whatsapp.

the problem i have is mainly with whatsapp. All the messangers drop signal, however me and the girlfriend use whatsapp to communicate, and she gets EXTREMLY upset with me when i dont reply, and i dont reply because i dont get her messages due to dropped signal.

I got this problem in SuperOS first and then when i loaded it over Stock rom i still had the problem.

Anyway, i will report back my findings, i hope IMO solves this issue

So, did it help you there?

Another question: Will it be possible to record calls with CM9? Could you add bidirictional voice recording?

Not really, but i figured out why its dropping signal. It seems to only happen when connecting to 3G or HSDPA. If you set it to connect to 2G only then everything works and the signal doesnt drop ( been running it now for a few days without losing signal on 2G ). i dont know if that info will help the devs working on the problem, but this really should be a priority bug, i can see alot of people not using this awesome rom because of this bug.

I however will keep using it, since i dont really need 3G for what i use it with, which is gchat and whatsapp.

Im just glad i found a work around

Btw to the OP :
You may wanna put it in the first post as a work around for phone dropping signal just set it to connect to 2G only.
