Oh wow... yeah... I only used it with HC, and just ditched it right away on ICS, because I could in AOKP. The button annoyed the hell out of me, and I had a nice clean spot on my touchscreen where it was never pressed. >_<

About browsing: I use Chrome on my tablet, and it's actually really smooth and clean. I'm definitely impressed by it. I've officially deleted my Titanium Backups for Dolphin and Opera, lol.

Default Notes for ICS

Was there any chance that the HTC Notes app could be included in this ROM? I saw that people were mentioning testing the stylus with the Quill app, however, that seems to well...not be free.

I'm just looking for a free notes with stylus app that has the ability to backup to the cloud using evernote or whatever like HTC notes. If anyone knows of one let me know and I'll scrap the HTC notes request.

I know this will be far down on the to do list, just thought I would mention it.

Thanks.

Maybe' but that's a lot of work and not a sure thing as this is a close source software.

Default touch problem

I have some strange touch problems when I charge my View. If I touch my device on any point, it produces touch responses at several other points on the display. If I plug out the usb cable, it works normally again.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I´m on Alpha 1.1 and did a full wipe before installing the rom.
Current devices:
Motorola RAZR i (rooted) running JB stock rom
HTC Evo View (rooted-S-OFF) running CG Jelly Bean AOPK ROM
MotoACTV (rooted) running stock rom
Nook Simple Touch (rooted) running Minimal Touch

I saw behavior like this, but only when using a cheap cell phone charger, not with the original one.

it automatically reconnects sometimes, and sometimes it times out and you have to toggle wifi.

With dhcp enabled, I get about 11% packet loss, and 0% with a static IP.

Hmmm, perhaps going static would improve Netflix?

I was ready to throw in the towel on the View, but this rom has made me change my mind. There are still some small bugs, but this is an alpha build, so I know they will be corrected. I know the amount of users on xda using the View is tiny, but I want to thank the developer of this rom for keeping it going and giving us a chance to have custom roms that are current. Keep up the good work.

So to flash this, I am currently s-off on HC. I know I need to put the zip on my SD card and flash in recovery. Does it need to go into the internel SD memory card or do I need to add an SD card. Don't remember if the recover see's internal memory......

Also, is there anything that doens't work that would stop this from being a DD right now. I do not have a pen so don't care about that...
