Default Dell Streak 350 recovery help

Hi
I am from India & I have a dell streak 5 with baseband version GAUSB1A135700-AWS

I was some how able to root the phone but its not showing me the option to clean the superuser data in the app option in the setting window but I did get the msg in recovery mode that my phone has been successfully rooted
& also I am not able to update using the pkg as its telling me to update via the update.zip
Do I have to use the 350 recovery method?
I am on android 2.2.2 & my kernel version is 2.6.32.9-perf & my build no. is16864

plz help

no worry.. custom ROM usually supports all region... well... it is custom right?

and try other custom ROM such as DSC 1.0 or longhorn 2.7

that should be enough for you...
