happily using this app, have been using it for some 2-odd years now. however, since the update to v2.05 I have two issues:
1) no points shown when checking in
2) no venue logos in the list

also, for some strange reason the app has never managed to locate my cell correctly when there's no gps fix and when 3G is enabled. when I'm on-line through an EDGE connection the triangulation works rather well, but it is annoying to have to disable 3G every time I want to use mysquare. this issue does not arise when I'm using other apps, like Google maps, and it is ROM independent. (I'm using an HTC Touch Pro2 running Energy ROM.)

but it show the general icon for all venues kind
And after a chek-in it don't shows the points

upgraded to 2.0.6. so far everything seems to be working fine, however the points do no show anymore, as was in 2.0.5.

Just a quick question, will this app show the check-in special at the merchant page, especially those need to be loaded on your synced credit card (amex)? Last time I checked (2.0.5), it did not have such function.

Mayorship

I have the free version of MySquare and am unable to gain mayorship at one place.
I have like 40 check-ins in this place for the last 60 days, and the mayor has only 3. Is the problem with this app or somwhere on foursquare?
They say I have to have a photo (which I have), I have to check-in only once in a day (I do) and I have to use the app, not m.foursquare.com. I use MySquare, does it count?

I noticed the same issue. Apparently MySquare checkins now only count if you have a GPS fix, not if your position is merely based on cell signal triangulation.

And how do I get the GPS fix? I have HTC Touch Pro2, too, with GPS enabled and in MySquare settings I have checked Use GPS.
Is it the GPS icon that's in the right corner? Does it have to show all the time, not blinking?

that's correct. just wait long enough, usually it takes 20 to 90 seconds to get a fix, depending on your location. it is practically impossible to get a fix inside a building, so you'll need to go outside or stand close to a window.

(I do hope that the creators of MySquare will resolve this issue in one of the next updates.)

couldnt authenticate my foursquare account in MySquare app. Can you please help ? its showing server error in the internet explorer...

Since a couple of weeks I get the "could not connect to Foursquare" error right after every checkin. Nevertheless, (nearly) all checkins are recorded in my history, but I can't see how many days to go until I become a mayor or how many points I have earned. Are other users experiencing the same problem?
